Indian Maiden Details
The exquisitely detailed Indian maiden showed barefoot kneeling with her eyes closed, her hands resting on her legs and wearing an intricate detailed buckskin outfit. Her skin as the Indian chief is brown with strong red terracotta tone. Her hair dress are two long braids
Our Indian maiden feels solid and most likely made out of plaster. This figure does show in the back a stamped date and signature from Continental Studios of Atlanta, Georgia and dated 1977.
The figurine is old and with signs of use as it shows some chips adding some character. The sculpture detail is exquisite as well as the colorful hand painting. At the bottom base features felt fabric/paper in green color. This item has intricate detail, her fingernails are visible.
